Apple Crumble Bars


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar (do not use Truvia/Stevia or other substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 cups peeled, cored and diced apples
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5 baking pan and line it with parchment paper.

  2. Mix flour, sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add diced apples. Melt butter and add to apple mixture. Beat egg with vanilla and add to mixture. Stir until everything is combined. Transfer the dough to the pan and press lightly with the spoon.

  3. Bake for 50 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
